Tetyana Karabin is a fellow of the Ukrainian Researchers at Risk program, spending the summer semester 2022 in Graz.
Her current research focuses on the issues of forming the system of special administrative law of Ukraine.
"The system of special administrative law of Ukraine has not yet been formed, there are different scientific points of view on what it should be and what should be part of its structure. But a single position on this issue has not been developed yet. So, the experience of Austria and Austrian model of administrative law can be a model for the formation of a similar one in Ukraine."
Tetyana Karabin is Head of the Department of Administrative, Financial and Informative Law at Uzhhorod National University. She defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Correlation of powers of local executive bodies and local self-government bodies: theoretical and practical questions” (2007) and her habilitation thesis entitled “Distribution of powers of public administration (doctrinal administrative-legal analysis)” (2017). Her research interests are administrative law, public administration, powers of public administration, tools and other issues of public administration.
