The goal of this project is to rethink precarious work by examining infrastructures that make it possible by 1) main actors in the infrastructures maintaining labour flow; 2) practices aimed at maintaining the infrastructures; 3) actions within them; and 4) its wider impact.

By studying who and what maintains these systems, how people resist or transform them, and how they shape working conditions and demographics, the project aims to uncover the hidden foundations of precarious work and explore their broader implications for society.
