Short abstract:
Considering that the 2024 Directives on Standards for Equality Bodies mention cooperation between Equality Bodies with “law enforcement bodies”, this seminar focuses on how Equality Bodies could potentially cooperate with police officers in order to promote equal treatment and to prevent and to protect from discrimination. The talk will describe Equalities Bodies’ competence and activities and will identify limitations and good practices in Europe.
